Walking through the wrought iron gate and up the modest stone path toward the entrance of this Tuscan-styled villa, you would never guess the remarkable tour that lay in store. In keeping true to the traditional European humility, this abode is not to be judged by its cover.

To best describe this property I shall start from the ground up. This home was built to LEED specifications and with recycled materials; such as stone from an old Massachusetts bridge and wood from trees that were raised when the property was readied for construction; thus, making this a symbol of the earth and an example for the future. As you enter the Grande three story foyer you are welcomed by the brown hues of stucco walls and heat radiating stone floors. You explore to your right and find a massive living/dining room with a fireplace. A wall of glass doors leads to your outdoor covered patio which is perfect for summer’s late lunches, and the adjacent bocce court brings the afternoon’s entertainment outside.

You return inside to find the windowed chef’s kitchen finished with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, polished cement counter tops; and custom cement sinks. The unique wood cabinetry and pantry disclose many secrets, including a hidden spice rack and wine cooler Exiting the kitchen to the left you enter your den which houses another of your three fireplaces.

Upon returning to the kitchen you can take the elevator up to the second floor where the master bedroom and guest bedroom await your discovery. The guest bedroom with en suite bath is adorned with finite finishes such as piece by piece inlayed stone lining the shower wall. And while these touches will impress you, its the master suite that will leave you a gasp. From the fireplace to the spa-like bathroom this master bedroom is the epitome of relaxation. There is a direct line of sight through the bedroom’s colossal westward facing window and the bathroom’s window which allows the sunset rays to penetrate through to your glass enclosed standing rain shower. Furthermore, a separate Jacuzzi bath offers another mode of much needed relaxation after a hard week’s work, and the open closet and dressing area will help you organize your wardrobe.

The elevator then takes you up to the third floor where two winged offices have been wired to Bloomberg standards and a large westward veranda presents you with the rolling greens of Sag Harbor’s woods.
