SUSAN DAVIS ELEY

As the mother of an elementary school age daughter, Susan Eley is acutely aware of the housing needs of families. She works diligently to assist clients in finding properties that meet their own needs and enhance the lives of their children. She understands first-hand the advantages of families being situated near good schools, parks and playgrounds, among other vital amenities.

Astute at analyzing individual needs and preferences, Susan has an uncanny ability to match the right client with the best possible space. A unique combination of components makes Susan an outstanding presence in the real estate market. Following an English major at the University of Massachusetts, Susan went into the field of marketing communications. Daily contact with Fortune 500 companies developed her expertise in problem solving, client services and promotion. A job as marketing director for a top architectural cabinetry company led to additional studies at the New York School of Interior Design and a practice in residential design. As a result of these diverse talents, Susan is able, not only, to advise sellers as to how to show properties to their best advantage, but to enable buyers to envision the potential of a prospective home.

As a longtime Manhattan resident, Susan is knowledgeable about the many neighborhoods that comprise this great city. She has chosen the Upper West Side as her home, where she ives with her husband and adopted Chinese daughter. Susan truly believes that New York City, and the Upper West Side in particular, is a wonderful place to raise a child. An involved community member, she serves on the Parents Association Board of PS 87, is a co-chair of the school's Enrichment Committee and is a member of the Multicultural Learning Group. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Madison Square Boys and Girls Club for the past fifteen years. She's also a member of the New York Athletic Club, where she enjoys tennis, among other sports.
