Spending her early childhood in Athens, Greece, Joanna sat and observed her mother act as a project manager/ site superintendent in the construction of an apartment building for their family. From that point on, Joanna's admiration for architectural elements and the entire construction process cultivated.

After graduating Rutgers College with a degree in Economics and Public Health, Joanna worked within the Project Management arena, visiting construction sites for schools, hotels, and condominiums. She met with architects, developers, lawyers, construction superintendents and school officials to facilitate project deadlines.

Although she enjoyed her work, Joanna wanted to grasp all phases of the construction process. She began working as a Compliance Coordinator for a private consulting firm specializing in Construction Safety and Health. At this position, Joanna was able to delve into the inner workings of a construction site from the excavation work to the steel erection to the interior finishes.

Joanna investigated construction site accidents and fatality cases throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She inspected varied construction sites, from hi-rise towers to stadium complexes to casino entertainment complexes to landfill sites to a nuclear power plant facility.

Joanna looks forward to bringing her construction knowledge and experiences to her new journey in real estate sales. She continues to research ongoing and future construction projects in the Manhattan area. By educating her clients on the neighborhood history and area construction projects, Joanna anticipates the purchasing experience as an informative voyage.
