Big Bang's Jim Parsons has just purchased a condo in a 14-floor, 51-unit luxury building located on desirable Gramercy Park in lower Manhattan.
The actor paid $1.822 million for the condo, a reduction from the asking price of $1.975 million. The 911-square-foot unit includes two bedrooms and one bath. Parsons reportedly purchased the condo with Todd Alan Spiewak.
The Gothic white-terra-cotta-clad building was constructed in 1908 and was once the home of actors John and Ethel Barrymore and circus man Alfred Ringling. Its entrance is guarded by two knight statues in silver-painted armor. The building turned condo in 2010.
One of the most prized perks of owning in the building is a key to private, two-acre Gramercy Park.
