Technically located on the French Riviera, just above Montreux and 20 minutes from the shores of Lake Geneva, the hotel is open year-round, and accessible by car (there is plently of private parking) or via the historic "cogwheel" train which stops directly in front of the hotel's front doors..and then continues on to some of the world's finest skiing, just 3 minutes away.

A tasteful and luxurious restoration of the original 1780 construction was completed in 1995, and further modernizations, including WiFi internet and equipped conference rooms, were done in 2000.
