Amjad Pervez has been providing unparalleled expertise, service and guidance to his clients since 2005. As a result of his exceptional service and resourcefulness, Amjad has long enjoyed an ongoing stream of repeat and referral business that is truly indicative of a growing client list devoted to a premier-quality broker who fervently represents their best interests.
Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Amjad experienced a demanding and successful career on Wall Street, where he achieved top sales numbers and managed high-end clients. The market insight, negotiating expertise and customer relationship skills he perfected on Wall Street transitioned seamlessly to real estate.
Previously with Prudential Douglas Elliman, Manhattan’s largest residential real estate brokerage firm, Amjad gained experience structuring deals for a variety of property types, ranging in price from the low hundreds to multi-million dollar sales. With his penchant for hard work and personable nature, he quickly climbed the industry ladder. His attention to fine details and diligence in putting together solid deals has earned him a 100% approval rate from co-op boards over the past six years. In 2011 he joined Nest Seekers in order to bring more personalized service to his clients.
Recognizing that buying and selling property can be as much a personal and emotional decision as it is financial, Amjad attributes his real estate success to customizing each engagement to meet the needs of his customer. Based on the objectives of sellers and a thorough analysis of the market, Amjad combines strategic pricing, multi-media marketing and targeted promotion to gain visibility with qualified buyers, increasing the chance of securing the highest possible sales price. In turn, his thoroughness taking into account decision criteria and factors driving each purchase has allowed him to identify prime real estate opportunities for his buyers—often uncovering properties that other agents have missed. His clientele ranges from first-time homeowners to high-end investors.
Amjad moved to New York in 1998. His story represents the American dream, having immigrated to the U.S. and through sheer hard work and determination graduated from driving a taxi to working on Wall Street and finally making a name for himself in the Manhattan real estate market. He now lives on the Upper West Side, where he is actively involved in various charities including the Developments in Literacy and SAYA. He is also on the executive committee of OPEN.
