Ivana’s extensive understanding of real estate comes in part from growing up in a real estate family. At a very young age Ivana learned the basics by working side-by-side with her father to develop ultra high-end, luxury properties in her native home of Montenegro.
When given the option of taking over the family business, Ivana (in a trademark display of her maverick personality) opted to go out on her own and came to the US alone at the age of seventeen. Upon receiving her B.A. in Media Studies/Public Relations from the College of Charleston in South Carolina she moved to New York City, and now calls Manhattan home.
Prior to starting her career in real estate, Ivana worked with high profile clients in the New York City hospitality industry for internationally acclaimed Andre Balazs and Jean-George Vongerichten. As a recognition of her talent she has received numerous awards in real estate, but the one she holds closest to her heart is “Best New Comer,” which she received in her first year of practice.
Through her professional experience and her active participation in numerous charitable causes, Ivana has developed a considerable network of contacts across all of the major industries in the City. This, together with the assistance of an organization of support that she has personally developed, among, developers, contractors, designers, mortgage brokers, title experts, real estate attorneys and other real estate professionals, makes Ivana a formidable force in the real estate world.
