After 20 years in Banking as a Senior VP for Prudential Financial Stephanie made a career switch, and decided to pursue her longtime dream of working in real estate. Since she has always enjoyed working with people, joining Nestseekers as a Salesperson allowed Stephanie to effectively achieve both goals.Stephanie had been with Nestseekers prior to the Engol & Volkers Aquisition.

Stephanie's lifelong private passion has been buying and renovating "Wrecks" something she has done for the past 24 years in NYC, The Hampton, Mexico and Minneapolis. Her love of Real Estate and seeing potential prepared her well for her new career. She capitalizes on her keen ability to navigate the delicate process of finding the right properties that have potential for appreciation or are undervalued. She applied her Wall street cost management skills to negotiation and settlement and to applying much needed patience, dedication and determination to get the job done. As Senior VP for Prudential, Stephanie  perfected her talent for handling complex negotiations regarding Brokerage firm mergers together settling numerous problems with great success. She has seamlessly transitioned this expertise and knowledge into the exciting world of residential sales and rentals on the East End, a place she has enjoyed for many years.

Stephanie's main goal is to provide her real estate clients the same level of professional service for which she was known in the corporate world. She prides herself on her integrity, honesty and the ability to "get things done." She has a keen intuition for finding the right property fit the first time out! Having purchased renovated and rented her own homes over the years, she truly understands the importance of these decisions and the attendant emotional and financial implications.

Raised in NYC, Stephanie has lived in Manhattan since 1984 and started renting on the East End in 1980. She purchased her first home in Sag Harbor in 1997 and moved to the area full time in 2005. Her own two homes were published in Major NY Newspapers in 2010. One as being a great short term rental, and the other in Newsday in an article titled "Real Hamptons Homes of the NY Housewives" because it was the summer rental of Reality TV Star Alex McCord and Family. The article quotes her as saying "It's her favorite Rental".

Stephanie enjoys the Hamptons beaches the most of anywhere in the world! and is thankful to be able to live in such a beautiful place. One of the things Stephanie is the proudest of all is her refusing to sell an easement on her Bridgehampton property forcing the landlocked owners to sell to the Community Preservation Fund, preserving 20 pristine acres, never to be developed.

What makes her the most happiest is helping people "Attain Their Dream", weather it be a one month summer rental, or a 13 million dollar Ocean front Purchase.

Giving back to the world is her biggest pleasure, establishing the Rose Melstein Scholarship fund, which grants scholarships to deserving women bi-annually. Stephanie lives with her husband Shane who is a fine and interesting man, a collectibles dealer, and her 2 cats Ginger and Munchkin.
