Nest Seekers International

Coming to East Hampton was a choice I made in 1990. I was living in Cleveland, Ohio and had made the decision to sell my stores and move to East Hampton (a place I learned to love from my annual visits here with my boys). I had a vacation home in East Hampton and knew the community well

In February of 1991 I opened a retail store by the name of Who'd a Thought, which I operated until selling it in 2011 to begin my career in real estate. In September 2001, I joined Nest Seekers. I made the change for several reasons (not the least of which was the reach they had in markets all over the world), but I also liked the close relationship Nest Seekers New York has with their East End offices.

On a personal note: all of my decisions along the way were made with the enthusiastic agreement of my wife Doris Nathan (she's always had a home in East Hampton). I have 2 sons; Josh lives in Phoenix and works for a retailer and is beginning a career as a photographer, taking pictures for the real estate community. Andrew lives in Seattle and owns Liberty Bar in Capitol Hill. Neither has a family so the excitement of grandchildren is yet to come, though both are in committed relationships with gals that we really like.

Needless to say the real estate business on the east end keeps me quite busy and, after 11 years, remains as exciting as it was in 2001.
