Access to all the famous, sandy Long Island beaches by hopping on the Long Island Railroad, which is just a few blocks away. The bus to and from downtown Brooklyn stops practically in front of the house and the subway isn't far off either (A, C, G & S). It's also close to Pratt Institute, and about a 10-min. drive to Manhattan. If it's nightlife that you're into, it's pretty close to all the trendy bars and restaurants in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, as well as the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).
