St. Martin Villa

Nestled near the Caribbean's gourmet paradise of Grand Case, the exclusive and private enclave of Mont Choisy is home to the elegant Happy Bay Villa. This stylish French Creole villa, adorned in soft yellows and trimmed with sophisticated dark wood details, welcomes guests with lush tropical gardens and stunning native boulders.

As you enter Happy Bay Villa, the panoramic views captivate with a sweeping vista of tropical green mountains, the endless blue sea, and sky, with Anguilla visible on the horizon. Below the deck, waves crash on the beach, enhancing the villa's serene ambiance. Surrounding the property, colorful gardens burst with tropical flowers, papaya, and banana trees. The heated blue pool seamlessly connects the villa to the breathtaking view, while the spacious horseshoe-shaped Ipe wood terrace offers ample outdoor dining and seating areas to enjoy the scenery and refreshing breezes. Quiet seating niches and a large covered gazebo provide peaceful retreats.

The interior great room, designed for both seating and dining, is fully air-conditioned yet can open fully to the tropical breeze. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors frame the view, and travertine floors flow throughout the interiors. The recently renovated decor exudes an open and airy vibe with a mix of contemporary and exotic furnishings in teak woods and soft taupe and cream tones. The modern, fully equipped kitchen, with views of the sea, features glass tiles, stainless steel appliances, and a stylish grey palette with pops of color. A fully equipped gym with a bathroom is located on the lower garden level.

Happy Bay Villa offers four en-suite bedrooms, all located off the main salon and under one roof. Each bedroom has interior and exterior doors, providing access to the pool, a small office/workspace, and fabulous sea views. Three bedrooms connect to a large media room with a flat-screen TV, perfect for teenagers and children. The master bedroom, situated on the opposite side of the villa, serves as a private oasis. While private, all bedrooms remain connected, accessible from the inside. Each bathroom is uniquely designed with stylish fixtures and interesting mixes of materials and is fully air-conditioned.

Although secluded, the villa is steps away from Friar's Bay and Happy Bay beaches. A short 3-minute drive brings you to the charming town of Grand Case, known for its fabulous restaurants, and the Hope Estate area, featuring a terrific French grocery store and Bacchus, one of the island's best restaurants and wine merchants.

SXM Music Festival: Please note that at the beginning of March each year (exact dates TBD), an Electronic Music Festival takes place on Happy Bay beach. During this time, there will be loud noise pollution. Check the festival dates prior to booking if this is not something you want during your SXM vacation experience.
