Located on Lafayette Street between Prince and Spring Streets, this one bedroom plus home office/guest room is truly one of a kind. The oversized living and dining room boasts ebony hardwood floors, high ceilings, and huge 7x7-foot windows that allow spectacular natural light to fill the loft. The Valcucine kitchen features a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Viking range, a Thermador dishwasher, and a breakfast bar. The primary bedroom also offers hardwood floors, along with a large walk-in closet featuring a corrugated glass wall, and three tall windows adorned with historic exterior steel shutters. The bathroom is sleek and stylish, offering a custom curved-glass shower, a beautiful poured terrazzo floor, and smart wifi washer and dryer. There is a home office/guest room designed as a pod featuring custom Italian cabinetry. All closets in the loft have been outfitted by California Closets. Central air conditioning runs throughout the apartment. This pre-war elevator building is perfectly located in Soho and adjacent to Nolita, with wonderful restaurants, shopping, and transportation right around the corner. 242 Lafayette Street is a 8 unit cooperative complete with a virtual doorman system and an elevator. Transportation is easily accessible via multiple nearby subway lines. Pets and pied-à-terres are welcome.
