A few years ago, every new traditional style house sported at least onegambrel, and sometimes so many as to be farcical. Now in the Hamptons, it seems like most new traditional style buildings areeschewing the gambrel and going with curved gables instead. This new house on Bridge Hill Lane in Bridgehampton is but one example. Asking price is $3.95M; for that you get 6 bedrooms, 6.5 baths in 5800sf on 1.13 acre. Will we eventually be as tired of the curvy gables as we are of gambrels?
