Nest Seekers is ramping up a new division aimed at advising ultra-high-net-worth clients.
The firm poached Serhant’s Loy Carlos and Kenneth Moore to run its Office of Global Wealth last month, and it’s now adding two more brokers and leasing Park Avenue office space for it.
David Attias is leaving Compass to join the division as its director and will work with domestic and international clients. While at Compass, Attias, who speaks five languages, was a member of the Charlie Attias Team, led by his brother. The team frequently works with international clients.
Also joining the Nest Seekers division is Christopher Rassam, a hedge fund-accountant-turned broker. Rassam previously worked on Serhant’s Thurber Team, led by Katie Thurber.
Attias and Rassam will work under Carlos, who previously ran Serhant’s division for properties asking $10 million or more.
Nest Seekers declined to say whether Rassam or Attias would be bringing any listings over with them. A spokesperson described the new operation as a “tight-knit unit, housing only a select few top-tier specialists.”
Carlos’ listings include an Upper East Side townhouse asking $38 million and a five-story multi-family home on the Upper West Side asking $13 million.
Nest Seekers signed a lease for 6,000 square feet of office space on the 20th floor of 505 Park Avenue, from which the firm will run the division. The company already occupies a two-level storefront at the bottom of the Lenox Hill building.
Earlier this year, Nest Seekers launched jets and yachts divisions. Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team is also offering jet and yacht services through a website that went live last month.
Serhant and Compass declined to comment.
