It’s the upper West Side’s Gold Coast — at tin ceiling prices.

A co-op apartment on the primo portion of Central Park West just went on the market for $748,000 — practically one-tenth of the average price for a home on the strip below the American Museum of Natural History.

True, the unit is a studio — but it’s not some basement room with a bathtub in the kitchen.

 

The 600-square-foot, gorgeously restored pre-war studio at 80 Central Park West is on the 21st floor, affording stunning views of the park. And there’s even a nook big enough for a bed.

 

“Brand new fixtures in a classic New York building like this, at a classic New York address, it’s so hard to find, and never at this price,” said Nestseekers broker Ryan Serhant, one of the stars of Bravo’s inaptly named “Million Dollar Listing.”

 

“No expense was spared,” Serhant said.

 

The apartment is on the market because its owner, an out-of-towner, has begun to visit the city less frequently as he ages, Serhant added.

 

It is the only apartment of its kind on Central Park West — home to guys named DeNiro, Blankfein, Streisand and Seinfeld — on the market right now.

The only thing for under a million on Central Park West is almost in Harlem, not in what insiders call the filet of the neighborhood, where the average price for an apartment is $7 million, according to StreetEasy.

 

A few doors down, the penthouse at 50 Central Park West went on the market for $48 million, and the penthouse at 15 CPW went last year for $88 million.

In May, the studio was actually pushing the millionaire-threshold, asking $925,000, but it never sold, so the price was dropped.

Now, it’s ready to move.
