Former Bond's Malibu Beach House Shoots for $250K/Month

British actor Pierce Brosnan might have quit playing the title character in the wildly popular Bond series a decade ago, but that doesn't mean he's run short on roles, or the cash to build an extravagant—but environmentally friendly—beach house on Malibu's Broad Beach. The waterfront mansion boasts four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, all in a "contemporary Thai/Balinese" style by architects Ralph and Ross Anderson. The list of features is long and includes "three master suites, well-appointed his and hers dressing rooms, gourmet kitchen, large saltwater swimming pool, indoor Japanese spa with soaking tub, infrared or traditional sauna, steam room, cold plunge, a full size gym, private screening room with bar, music room, library, separate guesthouse and pool cabana." Phew. Now, just a short while after completing his dream house, Brosnan has thrust it onto the summer rental market, hoping to get someone to pay $250K per month to live their while he gets paid to film his next movie.
