Gwyneth Paltrow Scores Spectacular Mansion

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are in escrow on a spectacular Windsor Smith-designed mansion that was featured on the cover of the October 2011 issue of Veranda. According to TMZ, the actress paid close to the $10.45M ask, which it reached in April after an $800K PriceChop. (The property, built last year, was originally put on the market for $11.96M in Sept.)

This "House of Windsor," as the magazine called it, served as the setting for the first-ever Veranda concept house last year, where a bunch of big-name designers were called in to do it up.
