Description

New Trullo, near to Ceglie Messapica, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large pool and gardens. Near to Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca. Bursting with Character, only a five minutes drive to the centre, where you will find many bars restaurants, known as the Gastronomic capital of Puglia. This Trullo is a new construction, built around an original trullo dating back over 500 years. The trullo is near to the town of Ceglie Messapica, which is a historic town, near to Ostuni, Cisternino, and Alberobello. The trullo has been designed with quality in mind, and as soon as you enter the long drive up to the trullo, you will feel the character of this building come to life. There are private gardens to the right, with fruit trees, and olive trees, as you enter the electronic gates, there is a car port, which can accommodate 4 cars. This is ideal as it gives much shade during the summer months. The trullo is magnificent, and as you enter through the main door, you come straight into a lounge, open plan, with dining table and very modern kitchen. The fixtures and fittings are of a high quality. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay, with gas hob, small oven, and small dishwasher. Coffee Machine, toaster, and all the mod cons required for your holiday. There is a TV, so you can enjoy watching Italian TV and maybe brushing up on your Italian language skills. From this main trullo, you have two double bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, and stone shelving, with bedside cabinets, and patio doors opening up onto the grounds. The next double bedroom has twin beds, with stone shelving, bedside cabinets, and plenty of room for either two adults or two children. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, with modern shower, black sink, built on a stone support. Toilet, bidet. From the lounge there is also patio doors that open up onto the gardens, and pool area, with plenty of covered veranda space, for 9. There are comfortable seating areas throughout and covered veranda's, where you can enjoy breakfast with warm croissants, and freshly brewed coffee. The next trullo adjoining, but accessed from a separate entrance, gives you an open plan lounge, kitchen area. Ideal for a couple. Independent of the main trullo, there is also a gas hob, electric oven, and dishwasher Wall mounted white TV. With coffee making facilities, sink, and drainer. Through to the bathroom on the left, again high quality, fittings, with stone washbasin, in black, toilet and bidet, and large shower area. There is also storage to the right, opposite the bathroom for your luggage. From here you go through to the bedroom, which has wardrobes, and a king sized bed. All rooms have air conditioning throughout. From the patio doors, you have your own covered veranda, with seating for 4, with views of the gardens and pool. The large stone built BBQ with outdoor lighting, is ideal for cooking outdoor grills, with local produce bought from the market, or local butchers. Outside the 10m x 5m pool at 1.2m up to a maximum of 1.3m deep is ideal, for cooling off during the heat of the day. Plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the Puglian sunshine. There is a covered pergola, and seating, along with an outdoor, shower, and toilet. Outside there are cleverly designed stone sunbeds with cushions, with parasols, which are great for those who want to relax and soak up the puglian sunshine. Under this veranda, there are quality white and grey furniture, where you can look out over the pool and gardens, whilst drinking a glass of champagne, or Prosecco. Prosecco is very popular mixed as a âspritzâ which is the drink taken before a meal know as an aperitivo, usually eaten with stuzzichini (which is a mixture of little snacks, a bit like a tapas). The gardens are superb, with different areas to sunbath. At the top of the garden you have a covered pergola, with Asian influences, and a double sunbed area, ideal for relaxing and sleeping during the day. This area is away from the main pool area. There are also hammocks, in which to shelter, whilst reading your favorite book. There is another bedroom with en-suite and small kitchen, attached to the trullo, but not accessed from the inside. Double bed, with wall mounted TV and Air Conditioning. The small trullo with single seating/or sofa bed, is ideal for a teenager or children wanting some time to relax, in a snug, with seating, ideal for chilling, or playing games on their i-phone. This is a quaint room, with toilet, shower - modern wet room. Ostuni is only a short drive away, with its famous 'White City', where you can enjoy the hussle and bussle of Italian life, just watching the world go by. Many bars and restaurants can be found around every corner. Its windy roads encourage you to park your car, and enjoy a passeggiata. As there are many hidden gems to be found whilst walking through these old streets. Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.
