Villa Mimpi is situated on the steep slope going down to the river. The back side of the building

is inserted into the slope, so the real size of the building remains invisible to the view. The natural

stones of the retaining walls fl ow into the house interior, so the marge between exterior and insides

of the building is dissolved. The swimming pool located on the ground floor is partly inside

partly outside of the house and is surrounded by timber decked terrace with sun beds designed

for taking sun baths. The terrace leads to the stairs connecting it with the living room. The space

of the living room is adjacent to the opened to the atmosphere inner garden and the heart of the

living room is a round fi re place surrounded by a round shaped sofa. The spacious kitchen allows

the maximum comfort and joy of cooking and the table in the centre of the dinning zone can accommodate

up to 12 persons.

First and second floor are opened out to the terraces, which are in level with the terrain slope

leveling. The enormous space of the bedroom allows to create lots of functional zones - the dressing

room, the work space, the grand divan zone, the boudoir, and the stand alone bathtub brings

the peculiar charm to this space. All the windows of the building are equipped with the bamboo

shutters. The authentic feature if this villa is the bamboo camouflage, which allows the owner

to choose the level of contact between the inside and the outside by mechanically moving the

bamboo shutters. The bedroom windows and terraces are opened to the magnifi cent view on the

landscape of river with waterfall. Once you’ve been there, you can’t but fall in love with this place.

the ocean in Sanur. At the bottom there is a big river that holds no less than 3 waterfalls, right in

our backyard.

of its own culture. It has around 30 000 residents and about 3 million tourists visit every year.

Our location is close to central to offer all of the amenities of city living, but still slightly removed

so you get the feeling of your own slice of paradise.
