In 1997 the country house (Leopoldina countryhouse) was restored throughout with handmade and local materials, such as old tiles, rustic wooden doors and gorgeous timber beams. By adding some detailed finishings, the house is a wonderful example of restoration in Tuscan style. The property dates back to the XVIII century and was originally part of a larger estate of 900 ha.
The house is on two levels in addition to the characteristic garret. It has an area of 817 sq.mt. with ten big bedrooms. The ground floor is divided in a big, airy living room, fully fitted kitchen with access to a terrace, toilette, office, utility room, two bedrooms with three bathrooms and the house keeper's apartment.
