The Amherst, 401 E. 74 Owners Corp, is a financially strong, friendly, postwar Co-op, with low maintenance,many amenities, and a proactive Board of Directors. The Second Avenue Q subway is less than a 5 minute walk away. Built in 1962, many of the original 251 units have been combined to create approximately 228 two, three, and four bedroom apartments. There is a 24-hour doorman, as well as a live-in Resident Manager.
