The popular neighborhood of Boerum Hill has transitioned from one
of Americas first wealthy suburbs to an economically depressed
enclave in the mid-20th century, to its current state as a desired
trendy hub of Brook-hatten. Boutiques, antique stores, and an eclectic
mix of restaurants fill in the spaces amongst restored 19th century row
houses on the main drags of Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street. As the
restaurant scene suggests, the demographic makeup of Boerum Hill is
ethnically heterogeneous.

Living within the quiet, quaint tree-lined streets of Boerum Hill
you can still enjoy a vibrant nightlife at the many flowing watering
holes. Real estate in the neighborhood offers a variety of options from
old brownstones to brand new luxury condos. Not exactly cheap, thanks
to the numerous subway lines available in this strategically located
neighborhood, but obviously worth it. Smith St., Temple Square are the heart.
