Jonny Gitti
Jonny Gitti is a native of São Paulo with Italian roots. His journey has been defined by creativity and innovation, as a photographer, creative director, designer, and a student of Advertising, Cinema, and Digital Marketing.
His photography has been featured in prestigious books, magazines, and newspapers such as Vogue, Veja, IstoÉ, Caras, Quem, Folha de S.Paulo, Estadão, and The Wall Street Journal.
Gitti's signature can be found in a variety of projects, ranging from directing and shooting music videos, commercials, and fashion films to global advertising campaigns.
Throughout his career, he had the privilege of collaborating with renowned brands in Brazil and abroad, such as John John Denim, Motor Oil Denim, Mary Kay, Asgharali, Warner Music Brasil, O Boticário, Casa Ronald McDonald SP GRAACC, Beauty Fair, Saraiva, Yes London, Urban Behavior, Yndu Store, Stetsom, Skol, and many others.
Gitti's work has been exhibited in galleries in Brazil, Spain, Andorra, and Portugal, rendering him significant awards, including:
1st place in the 1st Southern Brazil Circuit of Black & White Photographic Art, 3rd place in Black & White at the 41st Jauense International Salon of Photographic Art, 2nd place in Color at the 43rd Jauense International Salon of Photographic Art, as well as several honorable mentions.
As the mentor and photographer of the artistic project Suspended Reality, developed by visual artist Anaisa Franco during the LABMIS residency program (Museum of Image and Sound), I explored new ways of connecting art and technology.
Jonny's dedication to social transformation has led him to impactful projects such as Pronasce in Mozambique, Rica-Trama in Mato Grosso do Sul, and initiatives with the Guarani indigenous communities in São Paulo.
Jonny is a digital entrepreneur, serving as the creative director of Weprime Studio in partnership with the Super Prime International and Nest Seekers Brazil. He is also a mentor at The Casting, and editor of the channel @umaviagem. He continues to develop innovative projects and remain involved in exhibitions and artistic initiatives whenever possible.
