Macy J Blank

My name is Macy J. Blank. I was born and raised in North Dakota and later attended the University of Minnesota, where I majored in computer science and physics with a minor in Chinese. During my time there I studied Mandarin on the side, opening up opportunities to study abroad in Shanghai, Taipei, and Nanjing.

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I earned a master’s in interpretation and translation from Shanghai International Studies University. From 2019 to 2024, I worked in Shanghai as a professional Mandarin-English interpreter.

At the end of 2024, I relocated to New York City to begin my career in residential real estate. For the past six months, I’ve primarily served as a buyer’s agent in Manhattan, and in July of 2025, I was honored to join the Bethoney-Shen team at Nest Seekers International.

Outside of real estate, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book or dancing at a salsa/bachata social. While I’m back in the U.S. now, I’m still passionate about learning the richness of Chinese language and culture—and excited to continue that journey as a real estate professional.

大家好!我叫Macy J. Blank,中文名马乔。我出生并成长于北达科他州,曾在明尼苏达大学主修计算机和物理,辅修中文。大学期间曾先后在上海、台北和南京留学,毕业后进入上海外国语大学攻读英汉口译硕士学位。2016年至2024年间,我一直在上海从事口译工作。2024年底我搬到纽约,转行进入住宅房产销售行业。过去半年主要在曼哈顿从事买方经纪业务,今年7月份正式加入Nest Seekers International的Bethoney-Shen团队。业余时间,我热爱阅读、跳拉丁舞、学习语言。虽然已经回到美国,但我仍然热爱并持续学习博大精深的中文。
