Pompano Beach also hosts a monthly “Scenic A1A” Car Show & Cruise-In Night, which, according to the event’s press material, “showcases classic cars, antiques, specialty vehicles and more.” The show is a real event, with a raffle and door prizes, and classic music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s playing in the background.

Nearby neighborhoods include Deerfield Beach, Hillsboro Beach, and Lighthouse Point to the north, Coconut Creek to the west, and Fort Lauderdale, Margate, North Lauderdale, and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to the south.
