Gene DelGais has a long history with real estate, starting with his experiences with his family’s construction work. He learned real estate from the ground up, literally.
With his first sales job, Gene learned what it took to excel in the customer service industry. Even then, at age 16, he began developing relationships with customers which would last a lifetime.
His next job was working with a financial advisor. This is when Gene realized that his love of real estate could be a solid career choice. In his role with the financial advisor he was asked to evaluate several different investments for one of his clients. In doing these evaluations, Gene realized what a solid investment real estate could be. Time after time, the real estate investments proved to be a superior option. In fact, he realized, even at this young age, he was going to invest in real estate.
That is when he decided to combine his experience in sales with his passion for real estate. He began working at a commercial real estate sales firm and determined his niche, real estate development. Gene has enjoyed these long-lasting relationships with his clients and continues to create new relationships every day.
Gene is currently finishing his Bachelors Degree at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, studying finance. He hopes to further utilize his combination of knowledge in real estate and finance to pursue development opportunities in the NYC area.
