Hector Mercado

Hector Mercado is a real estate advisor and entrepreneur based in Puerto Rico with over a decade of experience in hospitality, property management, and real estate development. As the founder of West Coast BNB PR and Luxe Puerto Rico, Hector has overseen the management, marketing, and optimization of numerous short-term rental properties across Puerto Rico’s west coast, helping property owners transform their homes into high-performing assets.

His background combines real estate strategy, hospitality operations, and marketing, allowing him to advise clients not only on buying and selling property but also on maximizing a property's full potential through positioning, revenue optimization, and guest experience.

Hector earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management and Planning, graduating magna cum laude, and further strengthened his negotiation and deal-making expertise through professional training and certification from MIT in Negotiation and Influence. His academic background complements his entrepreneurial experience, giving him a strategic and analytical approach to real estate advisory.
