A Colombian buyer set a new record for the most expensive condo in Queens’ when she paid $3.35 million last month for a waterfront apartment in Long Island City, records show.

The international buyer paid cash for the ground-floor apartment with city views and a private garden. The unit is located in TF Cornerstone’s 17-story The View in the Hunters Point section.

“Long Island City is almost an extension of Midtown East,” said Silvette Julian of Nest Seekers International, who had the listing.

The 1,842-square-foot-apartment at 46-30 Center Boulevard — which features three bedrooms, three baths and 17-foot ceilings — went into contract about two weeks after it was listed at $3.5 million in March. The purchase closed May 21, city records show. The seller of the unit, Lev Fishman, paid $1.67 million for the condo in 2010.

The deal breaks the borough’s previous condo record, which was set in 2012 when an Australian buyer paid $3.15 million for another one of Julian’s listings in the building.

The broker is currently shopping a new record-breaking listing: a 2,108-square-foot apartment in The View asking $5.38 million.

“That’s just the asking price,” said Julian, who said she is entertaining a few offers at the moment. “I would like to get a price for my seller pretty close to ask. My aim to go above $1,800 a square foot. I enjoy breaking prices, why not? This is the best time to do it.”

Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly identified the location of the unit. The unit is on the ground floor.
