Brooklyn-born former New York Mets pitcher John Franco put his Staten Island mansion back on the market with a significant price reduction, The New York Post reported. The 11,539-square-foot home at 111 Cliffwood Avenue in Todt Hill is listed for $4.95 million by Laird Klein of Vitale Sunshine -- more than 40 percent less than the $8.3 million Franco asked for it back in 2005. The mansion has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, an indoor basketball court, a pool and overlooks a golf course with water views. Meanwhile, the former fan favorite was spotted checking out a $5 million Hamptons house.
