You're looking live at the inside of the clock face at 1 Main in Dumbo, one small but significant part of a 1300sqft duplex on the market for $1.7 million brought to our attention by an alert Curbed reader. Writes our tipster, "They finally put it on the market. If only I had that kind of money. Have been dreaming of this place every day on the N train going over the bridge." Wait, isn't this David Walentas' penthouse? Are we sure this is 1 Main? Actually, we're not. Help us help you—what's the story, clockface glory?
· Listing: Dumbo Penthouse [Nest Seekers]
· David Walentas Clocktower [New York]
UPDATE: Comments a tipster, "That is the south facing penthouse apartment at 70 washington, which is no longer on the market because it has been purchased by a not-yet-named rapper and his extremely hot wife."
UPDATE II: A special Curbed Dumbo correspondent emails, "sure it's 70W b/c they took out the translucent glass behind the clock and replaced it with clear. didn't realize it was going to be a penthouse - i don't care if it faces the BQE, the view of the tree canopy at cadman plaza is a lovely one. though, you'd be one of three - count 'em, three! - clock-face penthouses in dumbo... the eagle warehouse building being the 3rd."
