Justin Bieber considered a short-term rental in the city while on tour this month, we hear.
His people inquired about a $37,000/month spread at 285 Lafayette St., the building where beloved rock legend David Bowie lived and that his fans had turned into a shrine after his death earlier this year.
That unit is no longer on the market, and, in addition, the penthouse in the building is currently in contract.
It was last asking $11.2 million.
(The seller bought it for $7.9 million in 2013 and listed it unsuccessfully for nearly double the price — $15 million — in 2015.)
Bieber’s peeps also inquired about a penthouse at 15 Leonard St.
But finding short-term rentals in the city is tough.
Bieber ended up in the Hamptons, hanging out with top celebrity developer Joe Farrell and his family.
