Michael and Diane Schoeman have sold their co-op at 167 E. 61st St. for $5.62 million, just under its $5.99 million asking price — and they may never buy another co-op again!

Their building, Trump Plaza, was a land-lease building until the co-op decided to buy the land under it for $190 million.

That meant the Schoemans had to cough up close to $3 million for their share of the purchase.

Instead, they opted to sell — losing money on the apartment since they put millions into its renovation.

The move makes the Schoeman sale among the first since the land-buy was resolved.

The listing brokers were Kaptan Unugur, Linda Ho and Ryan Serhant of Nest Seekers International.
