A member of the Saudi royal family, Prince Saad bin Miteb Al Saud, recently expressed interest in a $29 million unit at Porter House, located at 66 Ninth Ave. in the Meatpacking District.
The Paris Forino-designed apartment comes with a 400-pound bronze kitchen sink and a 200-pound front door, as we previously reported.
The prince was repped by Compass broker Jessica Rains, who declined comment.
The five-bedroom, 6½-bathroom unit that caught his eye has 5,444 square feet and comes with a landscaped and irrigated private terrace.
Other details include: a center hallway with custom hand-painted plaster and chevron-patterned floors with brass inlay; a wet bar in the den with two solid brass shelves and soundproof windows.
The building, a former warehouse that dates to 1905, has a 21st-century 15,000-square-foot off-angle zinc-and-glass addition.
Past Porter House residents have included Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis, who sold their two-bedroom spread for $3.8 million in 2015.
The listing broker for the $29 million pad is Nest Seekers International’s Jessica Campbell.
